When you deactivate a Veritone-managed instance, the configuration remains, but the associated cloud resources are decommissioned and released.
[Note] The deactivating process for Veritone-managed instances can take several minutes to complete.
When you deactivate a self-managed instance, the instance is inactive, but the configuration remains in Hub.
No changes are made to any users or organizations that were associated with the instance, but they can no longer access the instance.
[Warning] A deactivated instance cannot be reactivated.
Steps
- In the aiWARE Instances table, on the instance to be deactivated, click More Actions > Deactivate Instance. The Deactivate Instance dialog opens.
- Click Deactivate. The instance is now inactive and any Veritone-managed processing infrastructure is released.
After the instance has been deactivated, it can then be deleted.
