After the end of each month, you need to package the usage reports and send them to your Veritone representative.
Before you begin
- You need a root user account.
- If
/usr/local/bin is not in your $PATH, you can add it for convenience. That is where aiWARE installs the usage-monitoring script.
Steps
- To package the previous month's data, run the following command:
aiware-usage.sh package
This compresses the reports into a package file where the script is located. This is the file that you need to send to Veritone.
[Note] To package an older monthly package file, run the command with the yyyy-mm parameter:
aiware-usage.sh package 2022-03
- Email the package file to your Veritone representative.
[Tip] Usage reports are fairly small (especially after being compressed), so you do not need to delete them to save space. However, if you want to delete all reports older than 6 months, you can use the optional step.
- Optional: Delete data older than 6 months with the following command:
aiware-usage.sh prune
