We offer a set of out-of-the-box adapters for popular sources such as Amazon Web Services S3, YouTube, Google Drive, Box, Dropbox, and RSS feeds. The two primary adapters you'll use are the Webstream Adapter (WSA) and the Stream Ingestor (SI2). The former outputs stream data, while the latter outputs chunks (or "segments").

Adapter engines include:

Engine	Description
Webstream adapter	Pulls content from a URL into the job as a stream.
Stream Ingestor (SI2) Audio-video chunk creator	Splits a stream (from a public URL) to audio, video, or images.
Stream Ingestor (SI2) playback segment creator	Creates playback segments (chunks) from an input stream into the TDO.
Stream Ingestor (SI2) stream asset creator	Ingests a stream and stores the data as an `asset` in the TDO.
