When you log in to Hub, your user account appears in the User Management list. The users associated with the currently active organization also appear in the list. Hub organization owners can manage users by inviting new users to Hub, editing certain user details, and changing user roles.
Add a user to Hub
When you add a user to Hub, you are inviting them to join your currently active organization. The following rules apply:
- Only users who are owners of an organization can invite others to join an organization.
- Both existing Hub users as well as others who are not current Hub users can be invited.
- If the users are new to Hub, they will have to first set up their user account to accept the invitation.
- When a user is added to an organization, that user can access all the users, instances and accounts. Click the Send invitation checkbox.
- To require a user to reset their password before logging in again, click the Password change required checkbox.
Change a user's role
Owners of an organization can edit a user's role to control whether the user has view or edit access to the organization's resources. Organization owners have edit access; organization members have view access only, unless the Package Manager flag has been selected for the user, in which case the member can also add and update packages for all instances owned by the organization.
Steps

Select a user in the User Management list. The User Detail panel opens.

Click the Organizations tab > More Actions > Edit.

In the Organizations list, on the organization you want to change the user role for, click More Actions > Edit. The Update Organization dialog opens.

Select whether you want the user to be an Owner or a Member. If a member needs to be able to add and update packages for the organization, enable the Package Manager flag.

Click Save.
