Evidence.com Ingestion Integration

Veritone Redact's integration with Evidence.com enables the seamless transfer of media from Evidence.com to the Redact platform. By providing API access, agencies allow Veritone to automatically ingest and process evidence files. This process streamlines the handling of media files, ensuring that evidence is efficiently tagged, ingested, and processed with minimal manual intervention.

Integration Steps:

1. API Access Provision:

   • Agency Action: Provide Veritone with API access to the Evidence.com tenant.

2. Configuration:

   • Veritone Action: Set up the agency’s Redact organization to automate the ingestion of evidence files from Evidence.com.

3. Tagging Evidence Files:

   • Agency Action: Users can tag their files with Veritone to select files in Evidence.com to ingest into Redact.

4. Automatic Ingestion:

   • System Process: Tagged evidence files are automatically ingested into Veritone Redact.

   • Timing: The ingestion process runs every 15 minutes (e.g., :00, :15, :30, :45) starting at the top of the hour.

5. File Processing:

   • Video Files: Automatically processed through Object Detection (identifying Head, Laptop/MDT, License Plate/Vehicle, Notepad) and Transcription.

   • Audio Files: Automatically processed through Transcription only.

6. File Visibility in Redact:

   • Classic View: Ingested files appear as regular files, named by their original filenames.

   • Folder View: Ingested files are located in the Unassigned Media section, where users can move them into the appropriate folder and request further actions.

This integration enhances efficiency by automating the flow of evidence from Evidence.com into Veritone Redact, ensuring quick and accurate processing of both video and audio files.
