Advertiser web statuses - “Warning” status
An update to the definition of “Warning” status was made in order to better accommodate delays in web data ingestion. In many cases for Attribute Pixel advertisers, but also sometimes when ingesting web data from partners such as Google Analytics, web data copy over can experience a slight delay. Because of this, the definition of a “Warning” status has been updated to: This status indicates your advertiser with active campaign(s) has experienced a web data issue over the last 48-96 hours.
This means you may see advertisers with a status of “Active,” even if the Last Activity date/time has not been updated with the last approximate 48-96 hours. These changes will effectively accommodate for these slight web data ingestion delays, ensuring users are only notified of an issue with their advertiser’s connection (i.e. a “Warning” status) only when there is truly an interruption to the web data connection.
Updates are reflected in the application both in the statuses applied to advertiser profiles, as well as in associated definitions such as the Advertiser Details panel.
Log ingestion architecture
Our team has been working to update and improve our log ingestion architecture in order to avoid any instances of missed log ingestion or delays in log ingestion. Items to contribute to this body of work have been deployed, and will continue over the next few sprints to optimize this funnel.
