This release note has two updates:
- Pixel direct implementation
- Abobe Analytics
Pixel direct implementation
As an additional method of implementation, an advertiser can use a direct implementation code snippet and method to install Attribute Pixel on their site for web data tracking.
This option has now been added to the application UI and email invites so an Attribute advertiser has the option to use Direct On Site implementation for Pixel installation.

[Note]Attribute Pixel is only available as a web connection option for customers based in North America.
Adobe Analytics traffic channel
Adobe Analytics standard web data tracking has a specific set of traffic channel definitions.
As a default these channels as reported by Adobe are:
-
Paid search
-
Affiliate
-
Referring domains
-
Email
-
Social networks
-
Display
-
Internal
-
Natural search
-
Direct
When an Adobe Analytics account administrator makes custom changes to their account and reporting, additional traffic channels options may be added.
In order to accommodate these custom configurations, we’ve added “Other” as a traffic channel field for Adobe Analytics advertisers and web data in order to ensure successful web data ingestion and usage in campaign dashboards/reporting. Any traffic data ingested via Adobe Analytics to Attribute that do not follow the default channels above will fall into “Other.”
