There are several advertiser connection options for Attribute users to work with, depending on an advertiser's setup.
For Attribute users, here is the connections setup workflow:
- Create a new advertiser.
- Choose the appropriate connection type. The table below gives an overview of types.

Google Analytics (GA4)
A web analytics service offered to track and report web traffic with reduced granularity in areas such as geolocation and channels.

- Advertiser can only approve basic Google tracking and connection for Attribute

An alternate connection method for advertisers using Adobe Analytics instead of Google Analytics.

Google Analytics (UA)
UA was deprecated by Google on July 1, 2023, but we can still track historical web data before this date if required for your campaign needs. This is only available for tracking if the Universal Analytics property existed and was live on your webpage during the historical campaign dates.

- Advertiser campaign requires historical web tracking before July 1, 2023 and did not have other methods (such as GA4) set up
- UA was active and tracking before July 1, 2023

N/A (should only be used to backfill web data if a historical connection is required)
